Cheryl joined the WSEE Stormteam in November of 2007 as the weekend weathercaster and weekday reporter.

She recently graduated from Brown Univerisity with a Bachelor's degree and is furthering her meteorological studies through Mississippi State's Distance Learning Program.

Before she arrived at WSEE in Erie, Cheryl began her career as an intern at WCAU-NBC10, in Philadelphia. She was a intern of their Earthwatch Team during the summer of 2006. Cheryl has always been fascinated with weather, stemming from her favorite childhood movie, The Wizard of OZ. Growing up in a small town in south Jersey, Cheryl was surrounded by winter snowstorms and summer thunderstorms. She is very excited to be in a Erie with its ever-changing weather and strong lake effect snow and rain.

In her spare time, when she is not busy building the accuracy of the WSEE forecast, Cheryl loves to travel, watch movies, dance and be surrounded by good company. Sports have always played a big part in Cheryl's life, especially when she was recruited to run track for Division 1 Brown University. Since she graduated she now resorts to her own workouts and putting her faith in Philadelphia sports teams! E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles!

HOBBIES: traveling, beaches, movies, working out, and spending time with good company.

FAVORITE FOOD: sushi and ice cream, but not together!

FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM: Eagles! Brown University Track and Field also

WHY I AM A METEOROLOGIST: It's been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. Being able to relay forecasts that are a part of everyday life is a gift!
