The Trenton Thunder scored 4 runs in the first inning on their way to a 7-2 win over the Erie Seawolves Thursday at Jerry Uht Park.  Erie has now lost eight of it's last nine games and are three games under five hundred (14-17) for the first time this season.  The Seawolves host Altoona in a three game series starting Friday night.

  The District 10 Boys Team Tennis Championships were held Thursday at the Pennbriar Athletic Club.  In AAA, McDowell beat Cathedral Prep 4-1, while Fairview won the AA Title with a 4-1 win over Hickory.  For Fairview, it was their 8th straight D-10 title. Both teams advance to the state tournament and will host first round matches next Tuesday at Pennbriar.
