Kelly was born in Pittsburgh and raised in Meadville, PA. She graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science in Radio and Television. After graduation she worked as a reporter and anchor at WENY in Elmira, NY. In January of 1995 Kelly moved back to northwest Pennsylvania to work at WJET.

Kelly has more than 10 years of experience reporting and anchoring in the Erie market and joined WSEE in September of 2005. During her career Kelly was awarded a Golden Quilt Award from the Pittsburgh Press Club for a report entitled "Passport to Poland." She is also a recipient of a Golden Mic Award for best Local TV Personality.

Over the years, Kelly has been active in community events in both Erie and Crawford Counties. She currently serves as President of the Board of Ronald McDonald house Charities in Erie, Warren and Crawford Counties.

When she's not working, Kelly enjoys playing with her two sons, who keep her extremely busy. Kelly also enjoys tennis, running and playing golf with her husband.

FIRST STORY: Holiday movies...it was a slow news day

MEMORABLE INTERVIEW: John Kanzius on the Newswatch Insider. He hired me 13 years ago and has since battled cancer and is working on a promising cancer treatment. It was a great example of how much our lives change.

DREAM JOB: Being able to do thisjob from home. I'm working on it.

ROLE MODEL: I always admired Jane Pauley when she was on the TODAY Show.

WHY I AM A JOURNALIST: I love the immediacy of my job. It's great to wrap up the day at 6:30PM and start all over again from scratch the next day.
